本製品は、1950年代から1960年代のヴィンテージウエスタンシャツのデザインをベースに、約8オンスの濃色インディゴデニムで仕立てられています。ウエスタンウェアに特徴的なクラシックな構造と実用的なディテールを取り入れながら、デニム特有の無骨な表情を加えることで、ワークウェアらしい力強さを併せ持つ一着に仕上げられています。生地には、シャツとして適度な厚みを持つ約8オンスのデニムを使用しています。一枚でシャツとして着用するほか、Tシャツの上から軽く羽織ったり、ジャケットやアウターのインナーとして重ね着したりと、幅広いスタイリングに取り入れやすい生地感です。

襟元は、台襟付きのシャツカラーを採用しています。台襟が襟の土台部分を支えることで、襟まわりに適度な立体感を持たせています。襟先はウエスタンシャツらしくやや細く鋭角的に設計されていますが、極端に長いロングポイントではなく、全体のバランスを取りやすい長さに仕上げられています。
フロントは、スナップボタン開閉式のフルオープン仕様です。前端は左右で異なる構造に仕立てられており、左身頃には共生地を二重にした別裁ちの前立てを縫い付け、右身頃は前端を内側へ折り返して生地を二重にすることで、見返しと補強を兼ねています。フロントには8つのボタンが配置されています。
袖口は、カフスに3個のスナップボタンを縦に配した、ウエスタンシャツらしい仕様です。カフスより上の袖開き部分には剣ボロ(カフスプラケット)を設け、剣ボロ自体にも1個のスナップボタンを配置しています。カフスと剣ボロのスナップボタンを開くことで袖口の開口部が広がり、着脱時に手を通しやすい構造となっています。実用的な構造の中に、クラシックなウエスタンウェアらしい意匠を取り入れた仕立てです。
前身頃の肩まわりには、左右それぞれにV字状のシングルポイントヨークを配しています。後身頃には左右の肩をつなぐバックヨークを設け、中央とその左右にポイントを持たせたトリプルポイントヨークに仕上げています。前後のヨーク部分は、身頃の上に同素材のデニムを重ねた二重仕立てとなっており、肩まわりを補強するとともに、ウエスタンシャツらしい立体感のあるデザインを形成しています。

This men's long-sleeve denim Western shirt is made in Japan by Sugar Cane, a Toyo Enterprises brand specializing in vintage-inspired American workwear. The approximately 8 oz. 100% cotton fabric has moderate substance, a subtly uneven surface, and a supple feel, with a one-wash finish that reduces its initial stiffness while retaining the body characteristic of denim. Changes tend to appear around areas that repeatedly fold, bend, or receive friction, including the collar fold, front placket, yoke seams, pocket edges, elbows, cuffs, and hem.
The location and intensity of these changes depend on how the shirt is worn and how frequently it is washed. As a result, the fading develops differently from one garment to another, gradually giving the denim a more individual appearance through use.
Pointed Shirt Collar with a Separate Collar Stand
The neckline uses a conventional shirt collar supported by a separate collar stand. The stand forms the base of the collar and supports the turn-down section above it, giving the neckline a defined, three-dimensional shape.
The collar tips are relatively narrow and sharply pointed, reflecting the character of a classic Western shirt. Their length remains moderate, allowing the pointed shape to complement the front yokes and snap closure without creating an exaggerated long-point profile.
Eight-Snap Front with Different Left and Right Placket Constructions
The front opens fully and closes with eight snap fasteners. The two front edges are constructed differently: the wearer's left front has a separately cut placket made from a double layer of the same denim, while the wearer's right front is turned inward to create a doubled section that serves as both a facing and reinforcement.

Genuine Shell Snap Faces Set in Metal Rims

Pointed Shirt Collar with a Separate Collar Stand
The neckline uses a conventional shirt collar supported by a separate collar stand. The stand forms the base of the collar and supports the turn-down section above it, giving the neckline a defined, three-dimensional shape.
